MIGRATION OF NORTHBOUND (NB) BROKER-TO-CLIENT ASSIGNED NUMBER (BCAN) FILE SUBMISSION AND DOWNLOAD FUNCTIONS TO ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATION PLATFORM 2.0 (ECP 2.0)

HKEX plans to implement the Migration of the platform. During the first phase, HKEX will provide an online platform for participants to submit and download NB BCAN files on ECP 2.0. The Migration will enable HKEX and its participants to benefit from a platform designed with the latest technology. The ECP 2.0 platform provides an improved user interface, enhanced security protocols and upgraded data processing capabilities, which are vital facilitators in ensuring efficient investor ID file submission. The Migration is mandatory for all China Connect Exchange Participants (CCEPs) and Trade-through Exchange Participants (TTEPs) and is tentatively scheduled for rollout in Q2 2023.
