The Securities and Futures Commissions chairman, and chief executive officer Ms Julia Leung holds a high level meeting with China Securities Regulatory Commission CSRS chairman in Beijing today.
During the meeting, both sides took stock of recent achievement between mainland and Hong Kong capital markets and exchange views on recent development of each other markets.
The two regulators agree to deepen cross boundary regulatory and enforcement cooperation and to promote coordinated development of the two capital markets, consolidating and enhancing Hong Kong status as international financial center.
