Infrastructure Sustainability-focused Satellite and AI Startup AiDash Raises $58.5 Million

AiDash, an enterprise software startup focused on infrastructure sustainability, has raised $58.5 million in a Series C funding round. The funds will be used to support infrastructure industries in their efforts to become more climate resilient and sustainable. AiDash, founded in 2019, offers solutions that leverage satellite analytics and AI to help customers in sectors such as electric utilities, gas utilities, water utilities, transportation, and construction improve their climate resilience and sustainability. The company’s technology enables users to identify maintenance and climate resilience issues, comply with biodiversity net gain mandates, and achieve carbon capture goals, while also reducing costs and enhancing the reliability of geographically distributed assets. The Series C funding round was led by impact investor Lightrock, and it saw participation from various notable investors, including private equity firm Lightsmith Group, Japanese conglomerate Marubeni Corporation, utility investors Duke Energy, National Grid, and Edison International, as well as Sabanci Ventures, SE Ventures, G2 Venture Partners, Benhamou Global Ventures, and Shell Ventures.
