The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) has alerted the public to a press release by UnionPay International regarding phishing fraud and counterfeit UnionPay International websites. The HKMA advises individuals who have encountered such fraud or provided personal information to these counterfeit sites to contact the retail payment system operator, report to the Police, or contact the Police’s Anti-Deception Coordination Centre
