AVPN and Google.org Fuel Climate Innovation in Asia-Pacific with $5M in Grants for Tech-Driven Solutions
AVPN, Asia’s largest network of social investors, has allocated $5 million through its APAC Sustainability Seed Fund (SSF) 2.0 to support 18 non-profit organizations tackling climate and sustainability issues in the Asia-Pacific region. Supported by Google.org and the Asian Development Bank (ADB), this initiative focuses on scaling technology-driven solutions in renewable energy, decarbonization, and other key areas. The APAC Sustainability Solutions Lab, funded by an additional $2 million grant from Google.org, will provide resources and foster collaboration among grantees. This effort aims to address the significant climate vulnerabilities in the region, leveraging digital technologies to drive impactful, scalable solutions for a more resilient future.
