Twenty-seven anti-corruption experts from 13 Belt and Road (B&R) countries are in Hong Kong for a nine-day training program hosted by the Hong Kong International Academy Against Corruption (HKIAAC) and the ICAC. The program, focused on “Leveraging on Innovation and Technology,” aims to enhance anti-graft capabilities in mega infrastructure projects by sharing the ICAC’s expertise. ICAC Commissioner Mr. Woo Ying-ming emphasized the training’s alignment with President Xi Jinping’s initiative for a clean Silk Road, and hoped it would strengthen international anti-corruption collaboration. Participants will engage in case studies, site visits, and discussions to learn about effective corruption prevention and control measures.
