ICAC hosts Corruption Prevention Seminar for Internal Auditors of B/Ds to enhance corruption prevention capability

Sixty internal auditors from 25 government departments attended an ICAC Corruption Prevention Seminar on October 24, aimed at enhancing their awareness of corruption-prone procedures and strengthening the government’s anti-corruption capabilities. Assistant Director Kate Cheuk highlighted the role of internal audits in improving risk management and governance while identifying potential corruption risks. The seminar included presentations from experienced professionals who shared case studies on recognizing and addressing corruption loopholes, particularly in procurement and contract administration, reinforcing the ICAC’s commitment to maintaining integrity within the civil service.
