Revised standard LAC disclosure template and updated Code of Practice chapter LAC-1 “Resolution Planning – LAC Requirements”

The Monetary Authority (MA) is issuing a revised standard LAC disclosure template, Template CCA(A), to enhance clarity for resolution entities and material subsidiaries regarding their regulatory capital and non-capital LAC debt instruments. This update, effective from January 1, 2025, aligns with changes to the Banking (Disclosure) Rules. Additionally, an updated version of the Code of Practice chapter LAC-1 on resolution planning will be released, reflecting findings from a February 2024 report on LAC requirements. Both documents are available on the HKMA website, and inquiries can be directed to specified contacts within the HKMA.
