The Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) will host two webinars on anti-money laundering and counter-financing of terrorism (AML/CFT) on November 25 and 26, 2024, via Zoom. The sessions aim to discuss the current state of AML/CFT Regtech adoption, supervisory observations, and money laundering typologies in the securities sector. Relevant management and compliance officers are encouraged to attend, with the webinars offering 2.5 Continuous Professional Training (CPT) hours. Firms can submit one enrollment form by November 8, 2024, with a maximum of two representatives per firm, allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Successful applicants will be notified via email.
