ICAC and CSB co-host integrity workshop to heighten civil servants’ awareness of supervisory accountability

On November 6, the ICAC and the Civil Service Bureau (CSB) co-hosted a workshop on supervisory accountability for approximately 150 Ethics Officers and integrity management staff from around 70 government bureaux and departments. This event, part of the Ethical Leadership Programme (ELP), aimed to strengthen the integrity culture within the civil service. The workshop included discussions on the importance of supervisory accountability, with presentations from ICAC officials and representatives from various departments sharing insights and case studies. Both the ICAC and CSB emphasized the significance of clear regulations and prompt actions against misconduct to uphold Hong Kong’s reputation for a clean civil service, which is critical for maintaining public trust and governance standards.
