Trafigura Group and GenZero have jointly committed over $100 million to expand the Brújula Verde landscape restoration project in Colombia, aiming to double its scale and production of carbon removal credits through afforestation and reforestation. The project, which focuses on restoring degraded land in the Orinoco River Basin, involves planting over 24 million trees and is expected to create over 700 jobs while benefiting local infrastructure.
