All licensed corporations, licensed representatives and registered institutions within the meaning of the Securities and Futures Ordinance (Cap. 571) or relevant individuals within the meaning of section 20(10) of the Banking Ordinance (Cap. 155)

On November 15, 2024, the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) issued a “cold shoulder order” against Ms. Zuo Ping, prohibiting her from engaging in certain financial activities for a six-year period, ending November 14, 2030. The order restricts licensed corporations, representatives, and relevant individuals from acting for Ms. Zuo or her controlled entities, except for CBK Holdings Limited and its subsidiaries, unless prior written consent is obtained from the SFC. The order excludes normal banking services that don’t involve regulated activities. Non-compliance with the order may lead to disciplinary actions or suspension of licenses. Organizations are urged to ensure staff are aware of and comply with these requirements.
