Asian Insurance Forum 2024 to chart a new path amidst global volatility

The Insurance Authority (IA) will host the Asian Insurance Forum (AIF) on 10 December 2024, featuring over 20 industry leaders discussing challenges in the global financial market, including high interest rates, debt sustainability, geopolitical tensions, climate change, and cybersecurity threats. Reflecting the theme “Rising to the Challenge amidst Global Volatility,” the forum highlights the insurance sector’s resilience and its role in supporting Hong Kong’s financial stability. Keynote speakers include top officials from international regulatory bodies, with panel discussions on global supervisory priorities, strengthening the headquarters economy, and insurance solutions in wealth management.
