SFC and SAFE top management meet in Beijing

On December 20, 2024, Dr. Kelvin Wong, Chairman of the Securities and Futures Commission, and CEO Ms. Julia Leung met with Mr. Zhu Hexin, Deputy Governor of the People’s Bank of China, in Beijing. They discussed recent financial market developments in Mainland China and Hong Kong, agreeing to enhance cooperation on promoting renminbi internationalization and strengthening Hong Kong’s role as a leading international financial center.
