AFRC welcomes the 2023-24 Annual Report and new appointmentsof the Process Review Panel

The Accounting and Financial Reporting Council (AFRC) welcomed the 2023-24 Annual Report by the Process Review Panel (PRP), which reviewed the AFRC’s inspections, investigations, and oversight activities. The PRP confirmed that the AFRC adhered to its internal procedures. Additionally, the AFRC welcomed the reappointment of current members and the new appointments of Mr. Kenneth Graeme Morrison and Mr. Johnny Ip Chun-yuen to the PRP. AFRC leadership expressed gratitude for the PRP’s recommendations, which are seen as crucial for strengthening the AFRC’s regulatory effectiveness and promoting high standards in financial reporting.
