HKIAAC and ICAC induction course accredited QF level 5, setting benchmark for global anti-graft professionals
The Hong Kong International Academy Against Corruption (HKIAAC), established by the ICAC, has received Level 5 accreditation in the Qualifications Framework (QF), enhancing the professionalism and global recognition of its anti-graft training. This accreditation, presented by the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications (HKCAAVQ), sets a benchmark for global anti-corruption professionals. ICAC Commissioner Woo Ying-ming highlighted the significance of achieving this status in the HKIAAC’s inaugural year, praising the efforts of ICAC officers. The accreditation allows the HKIAAC to offer structured training that supports both local and international integrity initiatives. The first accredited Professional Diploma in Anti-Corruption course began in December 2024, involving around 50 new recruits and covering comprehensive anti-corruption frameworks and strategies.
