On February 28, 2025, the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) released an updated list of prescribed persons who have reached the clearing threshold under the Securities and Futures (OTC Derivative Transactions – Clearing and Record Keeping Obligations and Designation of Central Counterparties) Rules. This list, which can be accessed on the SFC’s website, is compiled from information available to the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) and the SFC. Users are advised to check for updates, as the list may be revised periodically.
