Hong Kong gears up for Green Week

The second Hong Kong Green Week will take place from September 8 to 12, 2025, themed “Forging a Sustainable Future Together.” This flagship sustainability event will provide a platform for global stakeholders to engage in dialogue and collaboration on pressing sustainability challenges. Over 50 institutions from public and private sectors will host more than 35 events, including global conferences, business expos, executive roundtables, and practical workshops. Key topics will include energy transition, climate resilience, and climate technology development. Eddie Yue, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA), highlighted the event’s role in showcasing Hong Kong as a sustainable finance and knowledge hub. The HKMA will coordinate the program and co-host major events, such as the Climate Business Forum and the Green Fintech Symposium.
