The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) and the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) will host the inaugural HKMA–DFSA Joint Climate Finance Conference on 16 September 2024 in Hong Kong, in a hybrid format. This event, a key initiative of their partnership established in December 2023, aims to enhance collaboration on sustainable finance between Hong Kong and Dubai. The conference will address transition finance challenges and opportunities, featuring a fireside chat with HKMA Chief Executive Eddie Yue and DFSA Chief Executive Ian Johnston, along with panels on net-zero transition, capital allocation, and future strategies.
