ICAC Commissioner Mr. Woo Ying-ming urged international cooperation against corruption at the recent GlobE Network meetings in Beijing, where the “Beijing Consensus” was adopted to enhance law enforcement collaboration and deny safe havens for corrupt individuals. The event, organized by the UNODC and attended by about 400 representatives from 105 countries, emphasized the importance of partnerships in the fight against corruption. Mr. Woo highlighted the ICAC’s efforts, including recent agreements with international agencies and numerous capacity-building programs for anti-corruption officials.
