The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong, which is a subsidiary of HKEX, has announced that it will expand its listing framework for Specialist Technology Companies on March 31, 2023. Companies interested in listing under the new chapter can submit a formal application. This Specialist Technology chapter builds on the 2018 listing reforms that established Hong Kong as Asia’s premier biotechnology fundraising market. The Exchange received feedback from various respondents and made some adjustments to the new rules while maintaining their regulatory objectives. This new framework aims to support innovative and progressive companies and further establish Hong Kong as a leading marketplace for the future.
