The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (Exchange) has published the Guide for New Listing Applicants, consolidating and improving existing guidance letters and listing decisions related to new listings. The Guide aims to support applicants and their advisors in understanding the Exchange’s interpretation of Listing Rules and disclosure requirements, enabling investors to make well-informed assessments. It presents the information in a user-friendly format and will be regularly updated instead of issuing separate guidance letters. The Guide will take effect from January 1, 2024, and corresponding guidance letters and listing decisions will be archived. This initiative is part of HKEX’s commitment to enhancing listing guidance and strengthening the competitiveness of the markets.
