Fraudulent phone calls purportedly associated with Insurance Authority

The Insurance Authority (IA) , on 6 June, 2024, alerted the public to bogus phone calls purportedly associated with the IA. The IA has recently received public enquiries about suspicious phone calls in the form of pre-recorded messages, claiming to be made by the IA. In one case, the recipient was asked to take further actions relating to some suspicious insurance policies.
