A delegation of 24 participants from the Hong Kong Academy of Finance’s Financial Leaders Programme recently completed a field trip to Bangkok and Jakarta from September 23 to 27. The trip aimed to enhance exchanges with local financial and business leaders, focusing on macroeconomic opportunities and how Hong Kong’s financial sector can support ASEAN growth. Participants engaged in discussions with executives from 12 institutions, covering topics like fintech, infrastructure, and supply chain management. They also attended a luncheon with over 20 Mainland Chinese corporates, discussing regional challenges and opportunities. AoF CEO Enoch Fung emphasized the trip’s success in deepening understanding and fostering future collaboration. The Financial Leaders Programme, established in 2022, prepares emerging leaders in Hong Kong’s finance sector for future roles.
