SFC welcomes Process Review Panel Report 2023-24

The Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) has welcomed the 2023-24 annual report from the Process Review Panel (PRP), which includes observations and recommendations from a review of 60 cases. These suggestions aim to enhance the SFC’s regulatory effectiveness while ensuring fairness in the financial market. SFC CEO Ms. Julia Leung emphasized the importance of improving operational efficiency to strengthen institutional resilience and enhance capital markets, stating that the commission will carefully consider the PRP’s recommendations to streamline workflows and promote cross-divisional collaboration.
