Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants Elects President and Vice-Presidents

Following its 52nd annual general meeting, the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) elected Edward Au as President and Stephen Law, JP, and Jasmine Lee as Vice-Presidents for the 2024/25 term. Edward Au, a Deloitte China Managing Partner and HKICPA member since 2019, emphasized strengthening the profession amid challenges like green finance, digital transformation, and global interconnectedness. The Council includes 14 elected members, four government-appointed lay members, and two ex-officio members. Council elections occur every two years, and terms for the President and Vice-Presidents last one year.
