Tentative issuance schedule for Exchange Fund Bills and Notes

On February 14, 2025, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) released a tentative issuance schedule for Exchange Fund Bills and Notes (EFBNs) for the upcoming quarter from April to June 2025. This schedule includes tentative tender dates, issue sizes, and issue dates, reflecting the rollover of maturing issues and adjustments to the EFBN portfolio’s maturity spectrum. The quarterly schedule is published in February, May, August, and November, and while the details are provisional, final confirmations will be made at least 4 business days before tender dates for bills and 7 business days for notes.
