Then HKTDC Manager charged by ICAC with MIPO by divulging confidential tender information in $2.3m project to personal friend

An Assistant Business Manager at the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), Leung Sui-ying, has been charged by the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) with misconduct in public office (MIPO) for allegedly leaking confidential tender information related to a $2.3 million online market platform enhancement project to a personal friend, Chow Hang-yip. Chow faces charges for aiding and abetting Leung’s misconduct. The investigation revealed that Leung helped Chow’s company, AF Trinity Technologies Limited (ATTL), in securing the project by sharing evaluation criteria and proposals from other bidders. Both defendants are scheduled to appear in court for plea.
