On 8 August, the ICAC and the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce, Hong Kong (CGCC) launched the Business Sector Integrity Charter. This initiative encourages CGCC corporate members to adopt the Integrity Management System (IMS) to enhance business ethics and promote a clean business environment.
The ceremony was attended by Deputy Secretary for Justice Horace Cheung, ICAC Commissioner Woo Ying-ming, and CGCC Chairman Dr. Jonathan Choi. Woo highlighted that the Charter aligns with national policies on integrity and supports enterprises in improving governance and ESG performance. Cheung emphasized the importance of integrity for business success and competitiveness, while Choi praised the collaboration for boosting Hong Kong’s global reputation and business opportunities.
