HKMA informs that revisions to several Supervisory Policy Manual (SPM) modules and banking returns have been finalized, following industry consultations. The updates, which implement the Banking (Exposure Limits) (Amendment) Rules 2023 (BELAR) effective January 1, 2025, include adjustments based on industry feedback and textual improvements. The STET software for the updated returns will be available for download in early January 2025, with submission required by reporting institutions starting March 31, 2025.
