An updated list of individuals and entities under the UN Sanctions (Haiti) Regulation was published on October 1, 2024, following a prior circular on December 11, 2023. This update, including a relevant press release from the UN Security Council, is accessible on the Commerce and Economic Development Bureau’s website. Licensed corporations, SFC-licensed virtual asset service providers, and associated entities are advised to consult the AML/CFT Guideline for compliance measures and to screen their client lists against new designations promptly. They must also report any dealings with designated individuals or entities to the Joint Financial Intelligence Unit.
