HSBC has strengthened its partnership with Google Cloud to support the climate tech sector through the Google Cloud Ready – Sustainability program, which offers tailored financial products for startups in the U.S. and UK. The initiative, launched in 2021 with a $1 billion commitment to early-stage climate tech companies, has already allocated over half of its funds. HSBC plans to connect clients with GCRS companies and create a directory of ESG service providers to aid in their transition to net zero.
