SFC welcomes appointment and re-appointment of Non-Executive Directors

On March 28, 2025, the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) announced the appointment of Mr. Tony Tang Xiaodong and the re-appointment of Mr. Michael Wong Yick Kam as Non-Executive Directors for a two-year term. SFC Chairman Dr. Kelvin Wong welcomed Mr. Tang, highlighting his extensive experience in the global financial services sector and expertise in international capital markets, which will aid the SFC’s strategy and policy development. Dr. Wong also expressed gratitude to the outgoing Non-Executive Director, Mr. Nicky Lo, for his dedication and support to the Commission. Mr. Tang’s term will commence on April 24, 2025, while Mr. Wong’s renewed term will start on April 1, 2025, and Mr. Lo’s term will conclude on April 23, 2025.
