HKEX Introduces Order Routing Service on Integrated Fund Platform

On July 3, 2025, Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) announced the launch of the Order Routing Service on its Integrated Fund Platform (IFP), aimed at improving the efficiency of Hong Kong’s fund management industry. This new service enhances the fund order placement process, facilitating seamless communication between fund distributors and transfer agents, thus addressing operational challenges in the fund distribution lifecycle. Supported by the Financial Data Exchange Platform Network from Shenzhen Securities Communication Co. Ltd, the service connects various participants across the fund value chain, promoting collaboration and operational efficiencies. CEO Bonnie Y Chan emphasized the platform’s role in advancing Hong Kong’s fund distribution ecosystem and strengthening its position as a leading wealth management hub.
