Amendments to the General Rules of CCASS (the “Rules”) and the CCASS Operational Procedures (the “Procedures”) of Hong Kong Securities Clearing Company Limited (“HKSCC”)

This circular refers to a previous circular sent on May 19, 2023 (Ref No. LSD/034/2023). CCASS Participants are reminded that the amendments to the Rules and Procedures of HKSCC, which are necessary for implementing the HKD-RMB dual counter initiative outlined in Appendices 1 and 2 of the Circular, will be effective on June 19, 2023. The amended versions can be downloaded from specific sections of the HKEX website.
