HKEX Collaborates with Hang Seng Indexes Company to Launch Hang Seng HKEX Stock Connect China Enterprises Index

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) has partnered with Hang Seng Indexes Company Limited (HSIL) to launch the Hang Seng HKEX Stock Connect China Enterprises Index (SCCEA Index) on November 21, 2024. This new index will track the 80 largest Chinese companies by market capitalization listed on the Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Shenzhen exchanges that are part of the Stock Connect program. It aims to provide global investors with a comprehensive benchmark to capture investment opportunities in China, enhancing Hong Kong’s role as a global financial hub. The collaboration highlights the continued growth of Stock Connect and the ongoing development of Hong Kong’s capital market ecosystem.
