HKEX Welcomes Hong Kong Government Appointment to its Board

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) announced the appointment of Mr. Herbert Chia to its Board of Directors, effective October 29, 2024, with a term ending at the 2026 Annual General Meeting. HKEX Chairman Carlson Tong expressed confidence in Chia’s expertise in digital transformation and analytics, highlighting its importance for HKEX’s digital initiatives. He also thanked outgoing director Peter Yan for his contributions and congratulated him on his new role as Director-General of the Office for Attracting Strategic Enterprises.
